  Considering my family, and I were stranded, over 3½ hours from home; with a blown bearing on our trailer tire. We thought we could get some help, from the Canadian Tire, Auto Service. Our tire actually blew as we were driving through the parking lot, so we were able to fix it right there. (thank goodness!)

  I purchased a car battery from this location with a 3-year warranty. The battery would not work I had to have CAA boost me... When I brought the battery back they told me that it was fine, then they told me that I voided my warranty, then they told me that I could use the battery towards the purchase of a new battery... Why would I purchase a new battery when the battery that I walked in with was well within its warranty and when I've done nothing to void my warranty??? Dishonest, crooked and no integrity. I will accept the loss before doing any more business with any of the Canadian stores. I will take my business to an auto parts retailer who is willing to honor their warranty.

  Some staff are very friendly others not so much. I also despise Canadian tires return policy. So make sure you read it before you buy something. I knew the return policy but lately I've purchased a few items that just didn't do what they said they would so I couldn't just return it and get my money back or get store credit. I think this is something the entire company really needs to look at. Literally everywhere else has great return/refund policies....behind the times, especially with consumers having so many choices of brands and companies they purchase from.

  Instead of paying for towing, into the Automotive Dept, we had our own tools, but needed just a hammer.
