    I'm not sure how you figure that Phil, it's definitely a full branch of cibc, not just an atm.

    As mentioned from another person and their review no one ever answers the phone. It is not always convenient to go to the branch and it would be nice to know that someone cares enough just to pick up the phone....

    It is very frustrating to deal with this bank. No one answers the phone, only a fast talking voicemail message. There used to be info on the voicemail on how long it would take to return a call but now there is nothing, you have no idea if someone will ever call or if they even got the message. There is skeleton staff but that shouldn't prevent good customer service of someone answering the phone; they just let the machines pick up. Due to other customer service issues I switched to the TD years ago and am very happy; but my mortgage is still at CIBC...at least until I can get someone to call me back!
